I feel I have to post something on here about Souness remarks about Wenger.
Firstly I ended up not being Arsenes biggest fan.
Souness has called him lucky that he inherited the best back 4 in football and Bergkamp and Wrighty.
Doesn't go on to mention the signings of Vieira, Henry, Pires, Overmars, Anelka, and Freddie.
Doesn't mention the invincible back 4 that did not contain any of the originals. He goes on to say that Wenger was lucky that French footballers at the time were the best in the world.
Brrgkamp, Overmars, Campbell, Toure, Cole, Lauren, SEAMAN, Lehman obviously obviously did not contribute to that success than Mr souness.

Just laugh it off, Highburybill. I just read some of his comments and it's absolutely terrible. There's a reason why Wenger is nicknamed "The Professor" in football. To say that he has not contributed anything to football is a joke.

Anelka too for 500k was an absolute steal! Look I'm a Liverpool fan but I like Wenger, it was him that really pushed to transform the sort of lifestyle led by players and pushed the better diets, less drinking etc so a huge impact if even only looking at that regard
Signings wise, Viera was one of the best defensive midfielders the league has seen and Henry was a left winger was he not when Wenger bought him? Loved watching Henry and got to say though Wenger built a great footballing side, they were great to watch.

Hi Bill mate, what does it matter what Sournesss or anyone else says or thinks, we all know what Arsene did for our club in the first half of his time with us and if we Arsenal fans are extremely grateful for those wonderful early years under our best ever manager surely that's all that matters. Some people belittle Fergies achievements but he gave United fans incredible success they will always be grateful for and people already try to belittle Peps achievements at City but I very much doubt City fan's care less what other people say because they have been far too busy enjoyinng, celebrating and collecting wonderful memories that will stand them in good stead when like we did and United have slid into much less enjoyable times in their history.
Opinions don't change facts and all the facts anyone needs to know about the success of Wenger, Furguson and Gardiola are written in the football history books and no ones thoughts and feeling will delete those facts. As for the likes of Sourness and other pundits they have to be negative in order to stay relevant, it goes with the job as negativite opinions get way more attention than stating facts and truth ever will.
