We need someone Mal as our current options just don’t cut it if we want to win the league. Not saying they are bad players but not at the level we need to win the league. Are Kai and Jesus as good as Saliba or Saka or Rice or……if not then we have room to upgrade and must act if we believe so. Room in the squad for Kai but not our main striker / goal threat.

I agree sy we need a quality player up front, but it has to be the right player
I’m not sure that their is a player in the market atm
I would like us to be prudent in our search.

Ferguson may well be a world beater eventually. But to expect a teenager with an average scoring record to fit in and fire us to the title is madness ( better add in my opinion! ) For the future maybe but what we need now to win the title this season and better than what we have?
