In regards to Martinez, I think the club will be stupid to pay over 50m for him.
United can have him for that price. We have other pressing positions to sort out than spend such crazy amount for someone that wouldn’t even start if everyone was fit

Hi Corbs, I would like us to get someone to play that left sided 8 more effectively than Granit Xhaka.
Paqueta is a great choice for that position.
Secondly, I would like us to a cheaper left back backup. The name of Grimaldo sounds okay for me and a lot cheaper than 50m for Martinez.
Then we can get a winger or striker/ winger.
In summary, spend big on a midfield + left winger, get a cheap left back and a backup goalkeeper if Leno leaves.
Mart Turner looks aweful. Though it was his first game.

Fair call that Harrison. Grimaldo's name has been mentioned but would he be able to compete with KT or Tavares? I know Tavares hasn't been the greatest but still. do we see him being loaned?
Paqueta would be an amazing get but I personally don't see it happening for the price he has on his head - I think Newcastle with the influence of Guimaraes and $$$ from their take over will beat us.
We need another strong DM/ CM but who? I've mentioned Tielemans who I think COULD have what it takes (I like him) but he's not strong enough - simply makes up numbers IMO. Even the Ed's said he's lazy - would he be an improvement on what we have i.e Elneny potentially Patino?
I think we need to ship off some more players before we can see some new faces. Only time will tell, but as always. we remain optimistic.

Unlike what one of the Ed’s has said about Tielemans, I really rate him and hope we sign him. It is true that he looks or is lazy off the ball. But what he provides going forward is way better than what Granit or elneny would give.
And since Arteta moved to a lone midfield structure, where Partey is the one sitting back, Paqueta or Tielemans would focus more on the offensives. Assuming one joins. And they are good at that.
I read today that Tomas Partey will not be travelling, this whole rumours of rape hanging over him could mean we strongly need a DM. Fingers crossed ?. Elneny has done well in that position but not a like for like replacement.
Paqueta will be great and even more important signing than what Raphinha would have been.
Patino is not ready yet for EPL. Kid is good but still need more time to mature to premier league standards. I mean he will easily get shrugged off the ball.
