Hi Fellow Gunners and Eds, I am a 28-year-old Arsenal fan for the last 18 years or so! I have regularly travelled to London, I stay in Southgate (near Arsenal) - Have visited the stadium a couple of times but have never been able to watch a game. It so happens that I will be travelling to London somewhere around the NLD (1st October) - I want some help from the regular match-goers:

- Where can I buy these tickets and when are they made available?

-Apart from that, Seems like North Bank is the noisiest, I want the best experience possible - Where can I have a nice pre-match pint and kebab and then proceed to the stadium? Which tickets should I go for?

Any help would be great. Thank you guys in advance! I am already excited even writing this message.

Hey bud!

I am also a 28 year old Arsenal fan!

For me, I was lucky enough to be able to go to my first 5 games last season! Until then all of my friends have supported other teams and it's a 460 mile round trip for me so have had never gone on my own.

I signed up to get myself a RED membership which I have done this season as well. You get priority access to tickets approx 6 weeks before the fixture. However, tickets are usually in the upper stands which are still brilliant seats! Tickets for big games like the NLD though are very difficult to get!

Your best bet for the NLD is to try and find a season ticket holder that cannot make the game. You would would need to be a RED member as a minimum because you then have access to ticket exchange. If someone else can't attend they can upload their tickets to ticket exchange and it can be transferred to you but for the NLD I imagine there won't be many available.

There are plenty of places to go for food but we get off the underground at Arsenal and head to The Coronet for beers beforehand. It's a glorified Wetherspoons but it's where a large number of fans go before the game. Usually there is a big screen with old Arsenal games on which causes a good atmosphere!

I hope you manage to get to a game mate!

I grew up 1 mile from Highbury and was lucky enough to be around when you could pretty much just turn up and pay at the turnstiles, North Bank was a site to behold back then and a much better atmosphere than The Emirates.

Forget about the emirate’s

West lower at the marble hall was the place experience the NLDp.

As others have said, Red membership is good, as every game has some seats left for sale to red members before they go on general sale, of which the latter hardly ever happens for league games. Red members also get the chance to purchase the season ticket returns. I have been a member for quite a few years, and recently got moved up to silver (without actually asking) , but being honest, I don’t really use as I have friends with season tickets, so usually just get to go with them when one can’t make it. Pre game normally go to either the gunners or bank of friendship pubs on Highbury Park. Means you get to pass the old stadium when walking from Highbury station. There was a nice burger restaurant opposite the Bank of Friendship pub, but not sure if it survived the bid cv cull.

My guys! Thank you all of you for such descriptive answers, Thanks make Glen, It was quite comprehensive - I am exploring the RED membership option. I will keep you guys updated - REALLY REALLY want to get a chance to see the boys play live. For people like us who can't go week in and week out - It really is a lifelong dream.

Cheers guys!

Whether you see them play live or not IG, you like all the Gooners on this site have the Arsenal stamped on your heart.

Spot on Bill! Nothing gets me excited as the boys in red and white. Even if I get a game or not - rest assured I will be in one of the pubs in and around emirates during the NLD. See you guys there. Jesus with a brace and fabio viera with a sick assist. c'mon ARSENAL.
