Seems to Glenn. I thought he was a perfect target for us, so I'm disappointed we didn't make a move earlier. That said, around 22.5m is the quoted figure and it's dirt cheap, so I wonder if there's something still up in the air with the allegations surrounding the player.

I read we are preferring Tielmans because he is more an attacking midfielder whereas Bissouma is more defensive.

That’s a great signing for them, and at a great price. Maybe a slight gamble based on the outstanding court case, but you would think they have some knowledge on it all being ok. He keeps up his previous form that’s the step they need to get closer to the top 2. We on the other hand, appear to only be able to afford players going on the cheap, perhaps those with just one season left on their current contract, rather than a player who would actually make a massive difference for a few quid more.

For 25m he is a steal, who we should have been stealing. With our injury record can`t just rely on Partey and Tielemans! Partey and Bissouma should have been the way forward and Tielemans benched - absolute bargain! PS don`t tell Ed 014 whatever you do :) VTH.

Arsenal want versatile players according to The Athletic, hence the rumours surrounding Jesus, Tielemans, Bowen etc.
It would also tie in with previous signings such as White, Tomiyasu, Odegaard and Lokonga who can all play in more than one position.
Saka and ESR can also play either side with the latter also being able to play in the number 10 role.
If that's the case, I'm excited to see who we sign but it's already a frustrating summer when other teams are making huge progress early on.

Hi Yard mate, it looks horrible right now but in reality the window isn't even open let alone anywhere near closed.
2 or 3 really good signings would make everyone forget all about who spurs had or hadn't signed.
We can all tell ourselves terrible stories about what's not going happen and get all frustrated and down about things and equally we can all kids ourselves about totally unrealistic players joining us in an attempt to create a fairytale future in our minds to make ourselves feel good
Personally I am happy to wait and see what actually happens in real life and give the whole worse case v best case scenario story telling thing a complete miss.
