I have read most of the posts on here recently and agree with a lot of the points but it takes a good few seasons to re build getting rid of dead wood signing new players ect.
How long did it take Klopp to re build Liverpool.
I feel we are close only a few players short I think we missed a trick not signing a world class striker in January but if the players are not available or out of our price range there is not much the club can do.
I for one didn't expect to be in the chase for a Europe postion this season let alone the chance all be it slim a champions league spot and although we looked to have champions league sowed up I am still happy that we have showed some fight this season.
I know i will probably get lots of negative comments comments to this but this is my opinion.

Agree1 Disagree0

It's so interesting to see the different takes on our club Beefy.
Makes the world go round ?.

Your entitled to your views Beefyo8 mate and it's great you and some of the posters are sticking up for the team. On a personal note I get so so frustrated when I see how we play and our mental approach to games. I come on here to vent my feelings.
The last 3 defeats despite our injuries should have not happened and to go to a great chance of CL to now a possibility of not even Europa is unacceptable.

What interests me is how part of the fan base always double down on this notion that the future holds promise whether there is legitimacy to the counter argument or not.
It’s almost like there’s this desperate need to be seen as a more of a fan than those who demand better based on their perception of what being a loyal fan represents. In the cases where football club hierarchy’s need to be challenged these virtuous fans are enablers and do nothing but hinder progress. Loyalty to the club can be reflected more in dissent against a board or manager than blindly trusting in some rebuild or ‘process’. The push from owners to form a super league and the universal pushback from that serves as a recent reminder that custodians of your club don’t always have your best interests at heart.
As an Arsenal fan it would have been deplorable to have found a place in such a league based on history considering the last decades on field performances and off field lack of desire to pursue real progress. A passive owner all of a sudden rubbing his hands together at the idea of a short cut to massive turnover after showing little to no intent these last few years. The idea they considered it is revealing enough.
Rebuilds are unique to the persons initiating them. We’ve had an Emery rebuild. We’re now having an Arteta rebuild. If you didn’t know which manager was which and looked at the results over each season you wouldn’t be able to choose between them.
It just fascinates me how many of the self proclaimed ‘loyal’ fans readily consign one managers poor effort to history and readily roll behind the incoming ones rebuild in complete blind faith.
I’m not taking aim at you Beefy or labelling you as such I’m only speaking from my experience with fans such as those.
All I’ll say is that if I was a billionaire businessman investing in a football club and has no interest in on field success I would do everything Stan Kroenke has done up to now to divide the fan base and every now and again throw the odd bone to pacify if by some miracle there was a universally organised pushback.
He has a massive club, on one of the biggest cities in the world, globally recognised brand. In his eyes there’s no such thing as bad publicity and poor on field displays still have Arsenal trending worldwide. He doesn’t need to do anything but keep the wheel moving and if rubbish hits the fans ‘loyal’ fans will put the fires out for him.
Perfect.

Read all your recent posts and agreed with some and not other parts! I am at the moment MA in and always willing to listen to better options! This is where I am not sure about your posts! If MA isn’t the answer and I’m not totally convinced he is, who is the answer moving forward? VTH.

I’m not MA out Sussex. I’m saying he was the wrong appointment for what we needed at the time.
The state we were in did not call for a first time manager who would be learning on the job.
There’s an awful lot to like, but plenty of question marks around man management and temperament.
I’m more than happy to have him, as long as the talk is matched by walk.

Fair points Shambo - we are a young team and will be inconsistent . The players are still playing for MA and that`s half the battle! Glad you watched too haha VTH.
