Hats off to Mikel and the boys

I thought that was one of the best performances of the season

Keep celebrating lads, especially if it gets up nose's of people like young.

I remember when young used to dive all over the place scared of everyone, since he’s moved into defence he thinks the hardest man alive.

Totally agree Mal! Showing real bollox and togetherness - all we`ve wanted for years and getting rid of those without the necessary attitude and about time! I still remember the Summer when we had fans from both Villa ( We`ve bought Buendia he`s chosen Villa ahead of us and ESR would be moving up if he moved to Villa blah blah ) and Wolves (why would Neves move to us) giving it large about their clubs which is fine but we have given it back beating them both home and away and miles ahead in the table having taken I think all 12 points on offer. I`ll tell you why ESR and Neves would choose us because we are improving and right in the mix for Champions League. Great performance yesterday and 10/ 10 for Saka styling out his knee slide on a dry pitch into a somersault :) VTH
PS 449 you should be pleased people are asking after you! I left for a while and no-one noticed LOL Get back posting fella.

Yep, the kind of performance that slips under the radar as it's unflashy, but we kept them at arms length all day. These are the games we weren't winning last year but are now turning into low-key, comfortable affairs. It's very promising.

Brilliant post Sussex mate! Couldn't agree more! PS: Where've you been! Yes, I post rarely on here, but you've been MIA haha.

Good post Sussex. I always take those other clubs fans ambitions over us with a pinch of salt. Don’t want to be disrespectful to other teams, but players will come to us because at the end of the day, history shows we are a massive club, albeit going through a transition. That same history shows Wolves as a mostly Championship club currently punching well above their historical weight, and Villa, a great club yes, but still nowhere near us. I love a good economic theory, and on this I will mention mean reversion, which basically says when things have moved away from their historical range, they will return. I say the same about football, we will return to being a top 4 team, in the CL, and Wolves will return to the Championship, and that’s not me being disrespectful, it’s basic theory. That is why ESR is still at the club, and that’s why Neves would leave Wolves to come to Arsenal if we wanted him.
