I think pea is a great goals scorer, but it seems his old attitude of Dortmund is coming back, if that’s the case and he continues to carry on I can’t see anything else but arteta stripping him of the armband and getting rid in the summer,

{Ed014's Note - KT should have it anyway

But hasn't Abua contract created another Ozil situation where his wages won't be matched else where so he refuses to leave even if we wanted him to?

I guess if we let him go on a free someone might match his wages elsewhere, he's always had this do as he liked thing in his make up which is most probably why the biggest clubs never looked to sign him.
Armed with that contract he's not going to be an easy man to manage that's for sure.

Is this not getting blown out of proportion? Auba was late and he was pictured in a traffic jam in London. MA was just following his own protocol and disciplined the player. I think that's all that's happened and the media are jumping all over it as per. It's all forgotten and MA said that after the NLD. Have I missed something else that's happened?

That's a very fair comment Glen mate, this incident probably is being exaggerated, the problem with Auba is he does have a reputation for doing his own thing and digging his heels in at times which lead to Dortmond suspending him twice.

If it was not for that I'm sure his outstanding goals per game ratio would have seen him chased by the biggest clubs in the game.

At Arsenal he's been pretty good on the whole but there have been times when the club has accommodated his individual attitude where other players might not have received the same scope.

Yeah I get that Gunner mate and I can see why people are concerned. Since he joined Arsenal though, has he ever been disciplined for having bad attitude? Maybe behind closed doors but I can't remember seeing other articles about it since he's been at the club. I think we should all look past what happened at Dortmund. The young boys continuously praise him for what he brings on and off the field and I do genuinely believe that this is just the media clutching at straws.

I agree Glenn, great striker and as fans we have no idea of what he was like at Dortmund via speculation. I like the guy, looks like a good influence around the club. Let’s hope the Tottenham game has put the issue to bed.

By all accounts it’s happened 3 times.

His goal scoring at Dortmond was incredible, I seriously doubt they suspended him at at whim, especially not twice.

I know there was a thing a while back about him being friends with someone on Arsenal fan TV who likes to publicly put the club and the board down and obviously the club and board were not thrilled about there star player openly declaring he would be publicly friends with who he wished, regardless of the clubs feelings.

Nothing wrong with the fan stating his opinions but the clubs highest paid employee does have a certain responsibility to not publicly associate with people who are very publicly is at odds with his employer.

I am not anti Auba at all, I'm just trying to look past his goals and think of him as any other player when it comes to club rules.
