My immediate thought is not really because it's crossing boarders either way but I may be missing something of hadn't realised or considered.

I agree Ed014 mate, I know most fans dislike the international breaks but love European football but when it comes to what's safe then either neither or both are as safe as each other from my understanding of things.
{Ed014's Note - I’m sure they make every effort with the various protocols to make it as safe as possible.
It just seems such a contradiction of everything they are attempting to get us, the general public, to adhere to.
The one thing I have noticed is that we don’t seem to have heard for ages of any Prem players being tested positive for COVID.

That's true Ed014 mate, hopefully that's a really positive sign.
A little while back all sport seemed to be reporting high numbers but you hear little about it now.
But I get your point about 1 rule for the public and another for some others.
Personally I'd like to see 200 hours community service brought in for those who have parties ect as it would penalise the rich and famous just as much as the average person. Having to spend every Saturday for 6 months from 8an to 4pm cleaning graffiti or collecting rubbish off the streets might make them think twice about doing what was good for them but not for others.
Tough I know but for some 10k fine is obviously not a deterrent.
