I really like Lacca, but with a year left on his contract, and the fact that I assume we won’t offer him anywhere near the salary we seem to have paid PEA (allegedly) , then the writing is on the wall. Let’s cash in and re use those proceeds elsewhere. Is the Celtic guy any better than Bolgan or Eddie? Just because he can bang goals against the like of Inverness CT etc doesn’t show he can make it in the premiership. So maybe we should use any Lacca proceeds elsewhere? Would love to hear what Celtic fans think of him. Those that commented through this chat were certainly correct with their Tierney comments.
{Ed007's Note - On his day French Eddy is a handful for any defence mate and can score everything from tap ins to free-kicks. His natural ability and his close ball control can be astonishing at times (well for Scotland lol remembering you get kicked up and down the park up here) but he needs to improve his decision making on when to take the shot, he is prone to taking a touch too much.
He's been the darling of the Celtic support for a couple of years now but he has looked disinterested this season after failing to secure a move last summer yet he's still Scotland's top scorer - he seems to be your stereotypical moody French player like Anelka etc. even Charlie Nickerless took a pop at him last year for not celebrating enough when he scored lol
Edouard is also not the most hard-working player you'll see but he is quick & explosive over say 10 yards, he plays mostly as a lone striker with us but imo we have seen his best work when he has a partner up there with him and playing off a poacher type.
I'd even go as far to say that Eduard is a better technical and all round player than Dembele was when he was here.
I don't think you would be disappointed with Edouard but it might take him a wee while to settle and be ready for the step up and show his true worth.}

My pick would also be Martinelli, he's got so much potential and even if he's not the same player post-injury, he's still young and has time to adapt. Don't think we need another signing. Nketiah I think should leave to find a club where he can start every game.

I would like to see Pepe down the middle, but of Heathrow airport runway as he leaves the UK to join his new club! To be fair he has shown an eye for goal on occasions and so a go through the middle may suit. Failing that I actually think he is better on the left rather than right, plus he has the better Tierney for support when on the left rather than Bellerin.

😂 ok maybe I jumped the gun abit 077 😂 but there ain’t too much between the two I reckon. If Rash was more consistent then yes fo sure he wins the vote but then again Pepe hasn’t even gotten into 2nd gear yet (although he should have) he’s got everything in the locker to rock the Premier league but just need to find the damn key 🙄.
