The team really need to sort themselves out. Individual errors each week costing us goals. Not sure how arteta fixes that one. I'd say dropping them however will we have enough players to field a team 😂
Given xhaka credit lately however today he let us down. But so did one poor decision from VAR and some crap finishing.

Agreed D16. For some people it always comes back to the manager but I thought we set up quite well and the gameplan was good. The players need to have a good look at themselves and think about putting in the extra hours on the training ground, for me there is no excuse for Pépé to whiff from there, for example.

Thing is wire you don’t need extra work on the training ground to stop yesterday’s errors - it’s decision making at its lowest. I’m still putting 70% of the blame on Leno, he’s facing everyone Xhaka had his back to most of the Burnley players . If it was me I’d have played it back to Leno and shouted at him to clear it - watched it again and it’s mental.

11 games left and we need win them all to match Emerys only final points total 70pts
We need to win 9 and draw 1 from those 11 games to match Arsenes worst ever total of 66pts
And even to match Artetas own record low of 54pts last season we need 16 points from those 11 games.
We are currently running below 1.5 points per game so on target to set a new record low this season as we stand.

Arteta is the man in charge and it's under his management this decline is happening so I really don't see how it can not be his responsibly like every other manager has to take responsibly for what thier team does over a season.

Hopefully those 11 games will make the final table at game 38 a more positive picture Banbury mate.
But we can't do with Mikel what we did with Arsene and keep lowering the bar so he can get over it.
Come game 38 we have to face the facts, we are where we are under Mikel, be that 6th on 60 plus points or 10th on 53 points.
We can't have another season of going backwards next season as the long term effect could be huge and players like Saka and Tierney would understandably start looking at thier options.
