It makes sense that they would be watching him, amongst others. A protege of one of their most successful coaches and began his career with Barca. if in two seasons time Arsenal is in a strong position, with one or two trophies, having not been overindulged with money, it's the kind of option that would interest them.

We are complely at other end the extreme scale this week Sussex mate 😎
2 wins and we worry about top clubs pinching our outstanding manager, two defeats and we should never have employed him in the first place.
Surely the rational way is taking the season on the whole?
We've been mid table or lower all season and that's hardly the credentials top clubs look for when looking for their next manager, why ever would they? It makes no logical sense at all.

What I imagine these clubs look at is track record or potential as I am inclined to do . When MA arrived after Unai we were in a rubbish state ( no change from Wenger ) and MA had a real job on his hands. And he won a trophy ( not counting Community Shield - I miss RG ) Look at the players he`s bought in Gabriel and Partey and the yougsters coming through and finally getting rid of players most wanted rid of eg Ozil and Mustafi . We are also hopefully getting rid of what was called on here quite rightly the Cozy Club and changing those attitudes at a club can take time. If i make my mind up that MA has potential and will give him time then a 3-1 win or loss to Leicester won`t change my mind . I`d rather listen and trust ( for now ) someone who is paid handsomely for his opinions than listen to people who give plenty of advice for free. COYG.

And the results of his bringing in and getting rid of these players so far has been? A mid table position and inconsistent results and performances which have brought about that mid table position.
This is the realty of our season overall away from weekly up and down reactions and the reason I doubt very much Barcelona or any top club is going to come a knocking any time soon.
