Would love to see everyone's thoughts. If we get knocked out tomorrow would u sack or keep the manager.

Agree0 Disagree0

What would we achieve by sacking him if we lose tomorrow? Revenge?
If we lose tomorrow sacking Arteta wouldn't get us back in the competition so it would be a pointless excersise.

Even if we replaced him with Pep Jurgen or anyone else we won't finish top 4 this season and we won't be relegated with Arteta.

I'd wait until the season ends then assess where we finish both league position and points total wise, if either are a new 25 year low then most definitely tata Arteta because we can't keep going backwards and making excuses for why it's happening.

Agree with g62. A full season IMO is enough to judge a manager by, and Arteta deserves that. This summer's call should be based on that.

No don't sack him.

What and bring in Benitez for three months and then Hassenhuttl? On that basis alone don`t sack him! I have said before give him the Summer window and if he hasn`t improved markedly on this season by Christmas it needs to be looked at but if definite improvement (subjective I know) keep with him . Think that`s fair. For me if need be I would replace him with Rogers sparkling white teeth and all.
Would Rogers come to The Arsenal? Why not? In my eyes we are the best club there is! COYG.

My guess is, and it is only a guess, the club will back Arteta during the summer as they did Emery then if come next October/ November should we continue to be an inconsistent mid table team the club will give in to fan pressure and reluctantly give Mikel his cards leaving us looking for the best available candidate rather than the best possible candidate we can get, just as before.

What ever the club does this summer be it back or sack Arteta they absolutely have to get it right! Because we have already slipped into Everton and Spurs (pre Poch) territory of ex champions who've become top 10 to Europa league 5th or 6th standard and the next step down if continue to decline is life among the other ex champions like Leeds and Vila.
History shows the longer a club spends out of the limelight the more difficult it becomes to find your way back.

Mauricio Sarri ?

{Ed077's Note - What about Gasperini, the Atalanta manager?}
