{Ed047's Note - Tierney is back to doing stuff with the team but only 25% chance of playing Thursday so more likely the w’end which would be good.
Partey is much the same with a lesser chance of being ready for Sunday as the scan showed it was a little worse than first thought.
Be nice if he was ready for City too but we’re doing ok.

Going to bring this up again the alarm bells are ringing for me - 62 said I was getting 5 when I added 2+2 with regards KT’s history with injuries- 413 days out injured since 16/ 17 not including current injury, any news on cover for him .
And I’m going to say I’m also starting to get slightly concerned with regards TP, he’s hardly kicked a ball for us BUT in his case I appreciate UK football is a world apart from where he has come from, just worth keeping an eye on.
{Ed047's Note - Arteta has been talking about the club managing him better and Kieran managing himself better. He referred to training in that respect and I think Kieran is just full throttle in every thing he does.
He makes me laugh, him in training wearing shorts and a t-shirt everyone else wearing trackies, hoodies, gloves and anything else they can find to keep warm.
But yes it’s a concern and I think with Partey we rushed him back after his initial injury, mind you his legs are about a 3rd the size of Kierans! 🤣
Kieran has travelled with the squad for tonight’s game but Partey stayed behind.

I’d agree with that KT is full throttle all the time, thoughts on playing him in front of a LB?
TP I also think we pushed him on the pitch a bit too quick.

As you say KT is full throttle but the flip side is he is in my opinion Man of the match each game he plays. I also think this season is completely unusual as regards injuries as no rest no pre season games crammed in which may be exaggerating someone who is injury prone. I also think Cedric is getting better and certainly good enough cover. Whether MA thinks Chambers can cover Hector remains to be seen. I think we have enough for Benfica and so would rest KT and TP until Leicester. Players are not machines and lots of teams playing their best players who must be getting tired. If you check out City`s bench and rested players last night it is frightening and why they will be less affected than most with the number of games coming up COYG KT is best left back in the league ( with Robertson ) leave him there and yes we rushed TP back. Also was always taught to keep muscles warm maybe coaches should have a word with KT and tell him to wear gloves hat snood trackies etc etc.

Hi Banbury mate, personally I've become more open to the idea that KT might not be one of the walking wounded we have become used to over the years at Arsenal this season, prior to this season I was 95% convinced he was Wiltshire Dairby Mozaet rolled into one.
This season is like no other for injuries at all clubs as games come thinker and faster than ever before and prior to this latest injury KT was an ever present so I am very open to the idea of rather than his current injury be more evidence of his being long term injury prone it could well be a stand alone issue and may not automatically be linked to previous problems.
I must add at this point, I have been wrong before 😎 and not just once but on a regular basis over a prolonged period too, might add 😔😔.

Hi guys all I will say is his very long injury list started well before this season 5 years ago so the argument doesn’t stand up, happy to be proved wrong but go look at his injury details - as ED has highlighted he has to change his style of play.
