We had a good clear out this January but still kept the two biggest liabilities in the squad in luiz and xhaka.

Totally agree mate, I cringe when Luiz is on the team sheet, opponents must be told “ just run at him†he will make a mistake.

Tbf thought luiz had been playing well lately. I know he has always got that one mad moment in him. But the referee was shocking again tonight. Never a red. Luiz was holding back. Never went for him. But still gets sent off. And that ref on bt sport is shocking. Saying that luiz always got it in him. So it always a red.

But that one mad moment cost us the game and it isn’t the first time he’s done it.

Im sorry but where you criticism of Xhaka is coming from is beyond me, he has vastly improved this season, and i don't see him being replaced in the summer, he seems to be partnering Partey well. And David luiz was keeping Gabriel out for a reason. Unfortunate red due to a ridiculous rule, Gabriel needs to get back upto speed and quick.

Did you not see the Burnley game? Him getting sent off cost us that, he looks good with partey because he covers his arse. he’s too slow got no tactical awareness passing is shocking unless it’s two yards backwards. all he’s got is a shot on him.

Xhaka still plays as the holding mid, how can Partey be covering for a player that 90% of the time is behind him 🤷ðŸ¼â€â™‚ï¸ Honestly loose one game in 7 due to a poor refereeing and keeper misjudging the flight of a ball, and all of a sudden its Granits fault because he got sent off against Burnley in the middle of December 🤣🤣 i have no issue with slating him after a game if he was at fault, however he has been a massive part of the reason we have been so good lately.
