16 points from 18 mate, we can't be displeased with that! However, it's what we do against Utd and Wolves that will show whether we have made real progress or not. Uninspiring performances and losses to both of them and we'll be sat here saying the complete opposite.

I think, we will not have any uninspiring performances in the next half, not sure what happened to us during the two months period but that should be the worst possible we could play. I admit I was anxious and wanted a change in the dug out but we have really turned a corner and we can only look upwards. We have got most of the away fixtures to top 6 out of the way which is also a positive. Wherever we finish let's hope that the spuds finish below us!

I don't know about Bellerin being captain Lacazette would be my captain unless he's shy in the dressing room and else where. I know most think of KT but he's still young have time to wear the armband.
Pepe energy, pressing and running back was impressive last night which compliments the work Soares was putting in. Let's hope he's getting really hungry to play has he won't be seen on the right. PEA can smash and grab some goals but he doesn't put in such a shift and is one dimensional most of the time being force out left where he's less effective.
Honestly I think MA has been a bit luck with these things falling in to place for him.

I don’t know what MA has to do to get some credit he clearly has a great understanding of the modern game and has got players doing exactly what is asked by him and playing attractive football - give him some credit.

Malaga / 337 don’t get me wrong check my record on here in reference to MA. I pleaded his case before he gets the job and have not criticised him either. Throughout the seven game winless run I never fault him really. People, players, professional we all get some luck or rub of the green so to speak. Reading back it sounds as if I’m being critical but trust me I’m not.
To be more specific playing and in my opinion not criticism
Saka right is because Pepe was failing.
Playing ESR and Martinelli was because PEA and Willian being out at Chelsea.
Playing Pepe left last night was because of PEA absence.
Playing Soares at LB is because KT is out and AMN is ineffective.
To me this is now our best setup with the what we’ve got.
Even when we were languishing in 15th didn’t call fir his head or even thought he would get axed.

You have to remember a coach can’t teach a cat to bark but if you show it enough it’ll try and what I saw last night was players which have looked out of place actually buying in to what MA is coaching them to do, he talks about this in interviews and he has a plan for every game, what they did last night was took what Southampton did to us on Saturday and reversed it back on them
I just wish someone could teach David luiz to defend 🤣.

You're right Malaga more positivity is definitely welcome, especially from me. But I try not to get too carried away when we win couple games or make a big signing. I'm hungry for more we've got to get back on top winning the league and CL, but importantly to get back to playing beautiful football- it's an art and should always be in our DNA.
