2019 Net Debt top 10 clubs in EPL just so we all know all clubs have to borrow money at some point Position Club Net Debt
1 Chelsea £1.3 billion
2 Tottenham Hotspur £534 million
3 Newcastle United £384 million
4 Brighton and Hove Albion £279 million
5 Manchester United £204 million
6 Liverpool £157 million
7 Wolverhampton Wanderers £103 million
8 Watford £97 million
9 Bournemouth £90 million
10 Leicester City £80 million
Couldn’t find 2020 figures but my point is even then clubs were borrowing money if AFC have to borrow money short term for now I have no issues in the current climate.

Just read the headline
Boeing pay 737 £2.5 billion.
£2.5 billion! And you offer to lend me a measly tenner? Surely £25 wouldn't have been out of the way mate 😎.

Nothing wrong with Debt except extremes - Chelsea is extreme then City who fudged sponsorship deals with related party on stadium.

I don’t really care if we get a C.V. loan as long as doesn’t impact signings but if we need 120m - how will we repay in 16 months time. Why not get a Kroenke loan.

😂 kroenke would charge more than the Bank of England for sure, I’m not sure how it works with FFP either. Ed02 is your man for this if he would be kind enough to answer, but like he’s said many times the structure of our club is pretty knackered and complicated.

{Ed002's Note - It is a loan because the club has lost a considerable amount of money due to the pandemic. It will not impact FFP but obviously cannot be spent on players.}
