In really confused by the Mesut situation Gustav. I loved watching him play at his best when he partnered Sanchez and I think since then he has blown hot and cold. He pledges loyalty to Arsenal but he knows his presence must be unsettling to the other players. He says he wants to play but knows if he stays he will not.
If he decides to stay he will carry on earning big money. I understand he donates a large proportion of his salary to his charities, and which I love him for, so I understand his reasoning if this is the case.
My question is if he moves this window shouldn't Arsenal receive a fee as he is still an Arsenal player? Alternatively if he leaves on a free should the club be expected to fund all his wages?

He seems pretty determined to see out his contract Sally no matter what!
He says he will be at Arsenal until next summer and then move to Turkey and definitely not before then, regardless if Arsenal offer to pay his full wages for the next 6 months if he goes to Turkey early.
Stubbornness? or absolute determination not to be bullied?

I would assume if the club offer to pay his wages and he still refuses to move he is just trying to hurt the club 62. Its a very strange situation and although I was his biggest fan I would like an end to this sorry saga and for the club to learn lessons.
On another matter I hope you aren't too devastated that Calum might be up for sale ;)

Honestly sally it really is all about the money now with this guy it’s shameful, if he had any love for football he would leave and want to play. Anyone that feels sorry for him because he gives a few quid to charity from his vast fortune needs their head testing

Obviously ozil time is up with us, so its better he moves on so everyone else can do so including me. As for the money I thought the club offered to pay him off all this money and let go last summer if I'm not wrong.

Might not just be money ofc.
Ozil might also be seeing out his contract as he and his family planned around it, and just because the club want to end it early doesn't mean they should have to leave London. If he has any reason to feel badly treated I'm sure he'd be even less inclined to move.
