Nothing about it makes sense, he looked good when he played in the friendlies too.

I think he was purchased as back up but apparently when he arrived he had issues settling in so we panicked and bought a ready made player in Gabriel, if we can offload mustafi and or soctratis he may stay and be given a squad number.

Apparently Saliba had some severe problems settling the first 6 months but I’m pretty sure he will either be loaned out or if we can (please god) offload a centre back or 3 he will be given a squad number.

Apparently we are looking to sell rather than loan 737 mate, that's the most surprising thing about it all.
Mesut, Saliba, Maitland Niles players just seem to vanish without a trace and without plausible explanations in the Arsenal Triangle :-)
