Does ERS just show how wrong it was to freeze out Ozil?
Having a number 10 to create chances again seems to have made all the difference and you have to wonder how different the first half of the season might have been had the behind the scenes interference and politics not been involved.

I thought the idea was willian to play in that slot but he didn't even try it and left the spot empty which was MA biggest mistake.
I'm loving what ESR doing, I think this kid not getting enough credit.

We already have our club captain and top scorer moping around like a wet week in a thunderstorm and everyone without selective memory fade will remember that’s exactly how Ozil was before he was dropped!
More importantly if he were playing ESR wouldn’t have been given his chance to shine.

Hi Moe and 377, ERS looks outstanding and i am really happy he is playing, he's an absolute pleasure to watch.
My point is not having a genuine number 10 we were creating zilch chances week after week after week despite having the king of assists on our pay roll.
ERS is the future and Mesut is definitely the past, I very ok with that.
I just hope the internal politics and back room vendettas don't show up again in the future to handicap the teams chances.

Gunner - you are spot on. How you create with our midfield pea and Pepe on the wings with no No. 10 - who knows. Mikel thought he did but was 10000% so wrong. It was also a stupid decision to freeze him out. ESR won’t be able to keep this up all season - Ozil is past and very present but not the future. ESR could probably learn a lot from one of the best in the role even if a little past it now.
I don’t want to drop ESR for Ozil but we need back up and if Mustafi, Pepe and Willian are in the squad.

These days either ESR in the team I don't miss ozil, we were crying for someone to create chances and that's the main reason we keep mentioning him.
