I feel PEA is a little exhausted. He hadn't missed many (if any) games until recently. He probably played more than any other player. He's having a bad patch and I'm sure he is down on himself already without more criticism. I think we should give him a little slack, you don't become a bad player overnight.

Is that the same compassion and loyalty we are showing Arteta currently? We are a big club, despite doing our best not to be. That means a manager doesn’t get the luxury of bedding in for a few seasons. If you want that go manage a league one club. It also means if your form has dropped, you get dropped, even if you are captain. Yes PEA is a good player, but not at the moment, so he should be dropped until he proves himself worthy of the starting XI.
