Gunner 62 said it right we have created another Ozil situation with Auba. He just looks like he isn't bothered, doesn't like playing with youngsters. When he was negotiating his contract other clubs weren't exactly kicking our door down to sign him and he is 31 so he hasn't got a lot of sell on potential. So we now have, Ozil, Auba and Willian on big money contributing jack. Got that off my chest.
Good solid win lads not pretty but 3pts. Saka, ESR, Martinelli and Tierney shining again. Next up WBA despite getting tanked 5-0 will be up for it because if there's one club Allardyce loves beating its us.

Will Arteta have the bottle to leave Auba out?
Having our 2 highest earners frozen out doesn't exactly make those running things look good but including Auba as he is right now hurts performances, big decisions need to be made, let's hope Mikel has it in him to make them.

I’ve said all along, I like Artetas passion for the game, he knows what he wants to do but any manager walking in to this club has a huge task let alone a 38 year old in his first job
This is why I get so frustrated when people call for him to be sacked so soon, the problems are with the people upstairs and some of the players, there is no manager that can walk in and wave a magic wand over it all

This season is beyond weird. WBA get a point at champions then smashed five. I look at every fixture and see a possible draw . Just a few bad results changes positions very quickly. If pots and pans etc but if Spurs draw next two and we beat WBA we are only 5 points behind a team with nearly 60 % of season to go. It`s ridiculous as they were being touted as champions two weeks ago! We have a good run of games and finally getting results with Gabriel and Partey to replace Mari and El Nenny making us stronger . Doesn`t matter if you come to us for £10 000 or on £250 000 a week effort for 90 minutes literally costs nothing. Auba will make the decision for Arteta - don`t try don`t play simple. This season will be a challenge in squad rotation as games come too thick and fast. Having Auba and Laca rotating is a good thing. Auba is quality but don`t think the service has been great - sure you all saw the ball Xhaka should have played last night for Auba`s run but instead improved his passing stats by passing sideways. Still crying out for a number 10 - liking ESR but he`s not there yet. Hoping confidence let`s the handbrake off . Happy New Year Everyone COYG.
