Well played boys - the youngsters brought an infectious attitude that really help the entire team press and play at a higher tempo all over the pitch. Really pleased with that performance - we still looked a little brittle in the air but we put our bodies on thr line to defend our goal and block shots.
ESR played great and gave us an outlet, option and some creativity while Saka and Martinelli created problems on the flanks. Laca unlike PEA is able to keep the pressing and energy up front. He's not as deadly but between him, Martinelli and Saka we have some decent firepower.
See to play the ball forward a little quicker - even Granit played a few nice passes early.
I don't think Arteta can man manage the big names but may be with a youthful side we can build and avoid that deficiency.
Actually enjoyed the game - defending, attacks, energy, Attitude, goals etc etc. Well played boys.
MA note - when you brought the like of Pepe on - you killed the speed of the game a bit. Attitude is a fine balance - let's not make to many changes ( just a fit Partey ) and we will have an enjoyable 2021.

If Arteta brings back Auba Willian Pepe Luis and we lose with them then he will one step closer to the exit door.
If he sticks with the youngsters he will get more time from the fans will lose or draw.

It’s just a pity his contract is fresh. I would rather see Laca and analogue rotate. Buy a number 10 SRowe is not there yet and send Nketiah on loan. Bring in a DM to play with Partey, we could save money with Gendouzi if he could be convinced. Also a right sided CB to play with Gabriel.
But it’s easier send than done. Spend some money buying those no goods out of their contacts so they don’t spoil the atmosphere.

I think that's what we have all been calling for, play the youngsters which they seem they have more hunger than the experienced players.
Loved how quick our game was going forward the only negative thing was elnenny which he looked poor when not passing backwards.
I think having partey will make the big difference.
I hope this match as it was a convincing win can build some sort of confidence in the team.

Yeah we are much better when we play with some intensity and more aggression with our pressing, the youngsters certainly showing some of the experienced players how its done.

Play the players that excite us not the ones who frustrate and bore us into doing something other than watching our team play.
The youngsters are worth spending our time on the old tried and failed lot are just boring people into submission.
