I wonder what Graham Potter would achieve at a bigger club? Any of the Eds fancy sharing their opinion of him? I believe he's been very highly praised for how his teams move the ball around. Would he be a better fit for Arsenal than Arteta? 😂.

{Ed001's Note - I did a profile on him a long time back now (the first manager on the profiles site): Graham Potter profile. I do think he would have been a better choice to replace Wenger when he left and I still think he could do an excellent job at Arsenal. He plays good football but his Brighton team are so lacking in a clinical striker, you could just imagine what he would do with Arsenal where he would have better quality players. The only question is whether he could cope with the egos, as there have been a few issues with players, particularly Matt Ryan, of late.}

Excellent, thanks for that Ed! It's a big risk but surely not as much as hiring a manager with no experience. I really want it to work out for Arteta, I really do but something isn't clicking and we know there are many more issues within the club. I feel that Graham Potter would be a good fit for the style of football we like to watch as Arsenal fans though. He could bring Lamptey and Bissouma with him too 🤷🏻‍♂️.

{Ed001's Note - at least he is a coach, which is something Arteta has shown no evidence of being.}

True that. Thanks Ed 😊.

{Ed001's Note - it would be nice to see what he can do with a bigger club and better players at his disposal. One thing is for sure though, he would not have the media on his side as they have been stabbing him in the back since the moment he took over there. I am not sure why they have it in for him, but no matter what his team does on the pitch, the pundits always make snide comments about him and have been putting him forward as the next candidate to get the sack from the moment he took the Brighton job.}

I've got massive respect for Potter and would love to see him at Arsenal. Ed do you know if he has been able to continue organizing those non-football activities like ballet at Swansea and Brighton? I'd love to see Sokratis in the lead role 😆.

{Ed001's Note - apparently he has done a few things, but not ballet at Brighton. Wouldn't it be great to see Aubameyang doing a twirl?}

Interesting. I wonder why they feel to criticise him so much. In my opinion he's done a fantastic job at Brighton especially after the questionable sacking of CH. I didn't expect them to do that to be honest but he's got some brilliant performances out of his players.

{Ed001's Note - I guess he just isn't one of the clique of media darlings and they are probably sore that the job didn't go to one of their mates instead.}
