sorry i have to repeat a bit of what i said yesterday, yes pepe's actions were unacceptable and i also said that even 11 v 11 leeds always looked the more likelier.

what's annoying me today is i've seen on various platforms that basically pepe is to blame, even the manager is blaming him.
and now what he's done will be used to cover up the real problems we have, which is basically we ain't good enough.

i don't want arteta to fail but i do think the job is to big for him, but also i think he will be given a chance by the board because i think he is a yes man for them.
i actually think the longer there's no fans in stadiums the longer he'll keep the job to because the atmosphere will be toxic with fans there.

unfortunately i can't see things improving and the way we look now we will be lucky to finish top 10.

Absolutely agree with you g mark. So much fans blaming Pepe and keep going back to his price tag which he didn’t set himself. Yes he doesn’t play well at times but you can see if has no confidence in this team. He occupies a position but is not necessarily an important part of the game plan. He probably gain us a point as I couldn’t see us scoring and he becomes the fall guy because we are desperate for a win.

I wanted to see Arteta in and I’m not saying he should go but winning the FA cup must have got to him because he clearly seems like a yes man to his superiors and building tension in the team. He should go back to how he was as an assistant manager to some degree by sitting quietly and let the players play and stop acting like a parent on a Sunday afternoon. Watch when a player makes a mistake they look across to the technical area to see if they’re going to get a telling off.

He’s starting to look like he has a fear of failure. 😁

And I’ll keep banging on about it, waste of money keeping Aubameyang and getting Willian but this is a different topic.

He is 100% to blame, the guys supposed to be a world class “ professional “ footballer, the extortionate amount of money he gets paid to be at the top of his profession dictates that he should know what he can and can’t do, even 5 year olds are taught you cannot head butt another player.
Before anyone says it wasn’t a head butt he also knows that you cannot thrust your head towards a player like that, it’s an instant red.

Spot on 337 totally agree

And please don’t say he’s not to blame for his price tag, his greedy little agent has a say in salary so if Pepe thinks he’s that good why haven’t I see one decent performance against a decent side?

Bin him out - swap him for Giroud.

We live in a free market where people can set their own prices.

Ask the question does the club not know what £72m is worth.

Is Aubameyang worth £350k pw?
How many goals will he score by the end of the season?
How many goals has he scored the last two seasons? 22 each and he was joined golden boot in one.
Where did the club finished in those two seasons? 5th and 8th.
His goals are not really winning us games or putting us in the top four. So justify an 80% increase in his weekly wages.
