I’m actually bloody fuming, it’s becoming very clear we are years away from top 4, so many teams are better equipped than us . Anyone know what’s up with TP, please don’t tell me it was tactical?

Apparently he was injured mate, I know we don't see ourselves as such but in reality we have become Europa league regular top 8 side who talk about top 4 until it becomes mathematically impossible each season.

Emi caught that cross like Leno dreams he could and quick throw out to set up a counter attack. Our goalie can’t catch a cold. Certainly would trust Leno to hold a candle at a vigil.

What did Leno do wrong yesterday? Just because we sold Emi doesn’t mean, Leno was crap, does it? Where were you all for the last 10 years, when Emi couldn’t move anything?

Sen, it’s got nothing to do with 10 years ago, everyone could see what we had, a strong very confident goalkeeper who actually did everything better than Leno . No one is saying Leno was crap but it’s about contribution and our keeper doesn’t offer that much .

Leno is a great shot stopper but I’ve been saying fir over a year that he’s not good enough to be our long term keeper.
I didn’t jump on the Emi bandwagon and I was ok not wasting money on a Leno replacement as still a decent keeper but Emi excels in the area we in my opinion need. Good deceision making, good at crosses, owns his box and vocal.
We could have upgraded and missed a trick.
Ozil - I’ve unfortunately always stuck up for. We have never built a team around him and now we have Partey and Elneny to defend it’s crazy that Ozil can’t be that “luxury†creative player. I’ve seen him play quite a few times and he’s excellent to watch as he takes up such good unselfish positions, dictates temp and creates as long as we move the ball quickly. Perfect for right now. Makes even less sense with Laca a waste up front and PEA wasted on left wing.
Worst attacking start in 22 years and he drops Ozil.
