Great result big shout to Gabriel, Partey and surprisingly El Neny, I thought Neny had a very good, energetic and tidy game, I would have him over Xhaka any time.

Motm performance for elneny today. Makes the effort. Both new signings played really well, Added the steel we've needed. Is this the end of xhaka?

Superb from Gabriel and Partey - think they were head and shoulders above the rest but super games from Tierney, Saka and Elneny. Big call from the boss dropping Granit band Dani but I’d stick with Partey and Elneny going forward. Thought Elneny was really good today, kept our shape by dropping in when others pushed on, gave Partey a licence to get forward and thinks quicker than Granit. Well played son. I’ve given him a lot of 💩 in the past - well played ðŸ‘.
Deserved the win but it was a fortunate penalty and we didn’t really trouble their goal much but based on performance - we deserved it hands down

has to be end of xhaka, no idea what he adds to the team. He is a liability defensively and can easily be pressed. He is so one footed has to receive the ball to his left foot and is always predictable. Put Partey there and you have a completely different player.

CAnt argue with that Punani - Elneny released Partey who was exceptional.
The two centrebacks coped well after two early yellows and to be fair Bellerin put a decent shift in today.
Back 4 were good especially Gabriel
Midfield was excellent especially Partey but thanks to Elneny
Still got that niggle about going forward as we were pretty blunted in our attack with the exception of a stupid penalty. That penalty reminded me of penalties against us in previous Utd games. No danger as Rooney has a poor touch or striker going away from goal and sure enough a Kos or someone error proned would oblige with a stupid tackle. Remember the bloody penalty when we were on track for our 50th undefeated game and Rooney was already on his knees when tackle goes in. I’d be really annoyed with Pogba as nothing was coming from that move 😂.

The other big call was dropping Dani - well played again boss.
Where was PEA playing as I’m not sure he played left or centre - old fashioned inside left? So so much better Saka or a Tierney exploiting the full back than PEA. Also, I think Willian gets into the box more than Pepe - would you start Pepe or Willian. I prefer Willian Ben if he frustrates at times - he’s less frustrating than Pepe.
