Glad to see Willian has put the record straight about working with Mikel. I must say I thought it was a pretty positive interview and was surprised to see the negative spin by some news outlets.

He was honest about it being a very different coaching style but I didn't feel he was negative, just saying it how he saw it Gunner.

Fair enough Sally and to be fair it's unusual for a player let alone a new player to be openly critical of his new coach.
Especially at Arsenal where having an alternative view almost certainly means banishment to the other relm never to be seen again :-) ,

Yes - but he’s still saying we are rigid. No ribbon can hide that in his quotes. Everyone can see it also on the pitch.

It was a positive interview - the only negative was the rigid approach Mikel takes with players positions on the pitch. No matter how Willian tried to redress that - it was still the same message. He did speak highly of Mikel but what idiot under contract wouldn’t.
See mustafi is weighing in on the Ozil debate saying the boy is training hard.
The head of contract negotiations just left. guess we will put more power into Edu and Mikel’s hands. Like Mikel hasn’t enough to do just selecting a starting 11 to start in 5 games in a row and in everyone’s best positions.

Pretty inevitable that if things don't go well on the pitch people will start speaking thier own minds of the pitch and the more we will find out about what is really going on at Arsenal.

I'm struggling to understand what is wrong at Arsenal. Ed002 pointed the finger at Edu. I wonder what he is doing wrong? Are the Kroenke's too inflexible? Are the board disinterested? Who knows?
Not sure why I am posting this as I don't suppose we'll ever know 🤔 haha but I'd like to see Saliba on the bench tomorrow :)

The only thing Mustaphi should be weighing is his luggage at the airport when he sods off somewhere else. I can’t believe there has been talk in the press about him getting a new contract, unless it’s with him paying the club back for receiving money on false pretences that he was a top level defender. The guy has basically faked being a footballer for the majority of his time at the club, and suddenly remembers how to do it in the final throws of his current contract. If there is even a sniff of him receiving a single further penny from our club past the expiry of his current contract then it proves what an absolute mess we are in.

This summer the script was ever so slightly tinkered with by removing Arsenes name and inserting Edu in Arsenes place.
This sounded alarm bells for me that a new ruler had been crowned.

We are putting more and more power into fewer hands. How can an inexperienced coach actually coach if he’s involved with every facet of the club. Now including contract negotiations. Haven’t we learned anything.
Mikel should be able to select his top targets in key positions and enjoy his summer holidays or concentrate on preseason / winter schedule.
Mikel should be concentrating on coaching the first team and what his best 11 is. Not nutrition and disciplinary issues.
Give the guy the power he needs to be held accountable for how we play not our finances or scouting etc.

It's looking that way Sally, Mikels comments on Ozil just show how much he's following his lines given to him by his puppet master.
Mikels words would be ripped to bits by an inquisitive interview who asked difficult questions.
