Willian really saying we aren't creative because Mikel is too rigid and plays with the handbrake on.

Do we have the players to play the Man City way and does Mikel know any other way? Can he find that balance so we can attack ( for the love of god please ) while still defending and keeping shape
Leicester game showed we can still loss our shape without attacking - so what we giving up boss if we still can't defend. No one gets top 5 with our shooting record.
Good thing is - he knows it. Bad thing, he doesn't really have the experience to draw upon.
Really interested to see how amikel handles a known problem. I would say he hasn't solved our defensive issues yet and still has to answer the big question he had from day 1.
Can you sort out our weak defensive issues while still playing attractive / productive football.
He's clearly done some things right -
What do you think his 3 biggest achievements are to date in terms of the team
1. Not sure we are better than Wenger's worst teams but he's steadied the decline from Emery
2. Honesty in teams performances
3. Think he knows our weaknesses just not sure he knows how to solve them
Can't really say 3 good ones to be honest as don't believe he's achieved a whole lot outside of a good cup run but Wenger gave us those even in his crap years
What are the 3 biggest concerns you have ( if any) about how he's managing our great side
1. Doesn't know best formation or starting 11
2. Too ridged in his approach
3. Taken on to much to soon in his new role rather than being just coach
Looking at it objectively, I'm not that happy with Mikel. Hopefully your banter can help me see more positives as I really want him to succeed. May be Everton made the right call to steady the ship for 3 years.

I said it before and I’ll say it again, Mikel Arteta does not allow our players freedom. Everything is very instruction-based and not based on instinct or natural movement. That’s why we are predictable to play against. Hopefully we can get 3 points today though.

Hi DG the Europa group stages are a no win situation for Mikel, if we win 7 0 tonight and play brilliantly no one will take it seriously because of the opposition but struggle or even fail to win tonight and the pressure and questions about Mikels capabilities will dramatically increase.
Sunday is when Mikel can start to win back some of the shed load of backing he's lost this season.
