These seemed like the 3 options up front - PEA in middle or a Giroud type striker in middle or a DB10 in the middle. I don’t think Laca can play the Giroud or DB10 role so like Freddie did - I drop Laca and build attack around PEA. Personally, the only option is PEA down the middle. Or 2 up front 4 4 2 or an interesting 4 2 3 1 which I’d like to see.
That’s the formation I would like - 4 2 3 1 with a tweak when away to big boys

He's got to give a settled premier league 11 a run mate, like you say stop the tinkering.

Agree Banbury, United can be lethal going forward and dodgy at the back but we aren't exactly the bravest of teams likely to exploit their weakness. 0 0 bore draw or 2 0 United is my guess.
