Makes me laugh seeing updates from apparent ITK's on twitter etc. "Aouar all but done" claims some, "Announcemet imminent". Scroll to next post, "Aouar deal collapsed, Jorginho priority". Social media is a literal lottery and dart throwing exercise, make enough claims that when one lands correct you pretend you knew all along.

All this is more evidence to the fact that this site is my absolute primary for news. I don't trust anything else other than the Arsenal website itself. (But I still look through social media for news I know isn't evidenced, its like a drug I tell you! )

Anyway, thanks to the Eds for the site, particularly during times like these. can't imagine how many questions and posts they need to moderate due to social media and mainstream media claims.

The thing is Lefty everyone remembers the 1 in 200 stories Sky and Co come out with that actually happen and soon forget the other 199.
If people kept a log of all the media predictions over 1 summer and compared the hit to miss ratio they'd be very choosy about who they bothered taking notice of in future mate.

{Ed047's Note - I’m still really excited about Kante coming 62 and we get rid of Guendouzi! 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣🤣

Me to Ed047, I'm just wondering how Kante and Jordginho are going to gel better in an Arsenal shirt than they did in a Chelsea shirt, maybe having Samuel Khedira sandwiched between the two of them will be the secret ingredient :-)

{Ed047's Note - ahh the memories, good old Sammy, he was coming to play with his best bud Ozil. 🤦‍♂️😂

Surely sell Laca and Eddie and bring in Benzema and Higuain! I’ve heard they’re here for the medical already 👀COYG You know it makes sense.

{Ed047's Note - 🤣🤣

Our medical room is like the Bermuda Triangle, some enter and leave while others who enter and never leave. No wonder top players are reluctant to take a their chances with Arsenal.

The scary thing is not the fake news and lies these major news outlets put out about transfers, it’s when you realise they are doing the same in their news and politics sections.

Absolutely Epping mate, my approach to every news story is to ask, how does the teller of the story know that? What actually genuine evidence is there to support that story?
" Arteta is planing a secret bid for such and such player " claim the Metro! Why is Mikel telling the Metro all his secret plans?
" C.V. crisis will be with us for the next 5 years claims the BBC" yeah well why didn't the BBC tell us 5 years ago it was coming if they can see into the future!
Extraordinary claims Demand Extraordinary strong evidence while crazy bizarre claims need no evidence just people to be worried enough to take them seriously.
