Would anyone else like to see Pepe play on the LW rather than the right? He prefers the RW but the level of football he's now playing at makes it extremely hard for him to get in behind and cut on to his left foot. On the left he would be able to drive forward and naturally have the ball on his stronger foot for crossed and shots across goal. he needs to adapt his if he wants to improve and I think a move to the left would be great for him. Saka and Pepe on the left.
Then again, with Auba always playing LW even Saka can't get a game which is shocking. We need 2 natural wingers either side of the ST.

I’m tired of seeing PEA wasted on the left wing - ridiculous in my opinion.
I don’t understand what AMN is also playing wide left rather than Saka - seems crazy
Then when you play Pepe RW - we’ve got a messed up balance.
We have a wealth of attacking options but pick a really weird set up at times.

Personally I'd play Saka left and Willian right of Auba in the middle and of course Tierney at LB but I guess like all of us Mikel has his own opinions and it's what those opinions bring over a season that count.
If Mikels choices bring a return of champions league football who cares who he plays where but on the other hand if his strange choices don't pay off then he will find himself exactly where Emery found himself with the fans wanting him gone.
I back Mikel and his choices for this season regardless whether I agree or disagree with them but only results will determine how long I or the majority will accept difficult to understand line ups and difficult to watch performances and results.
The really good thing in my opinion is Arsenal managers are once again accountable for what their team delivers or fails to deliver simply because the fans won't accept non improvement from any manager be them Arsenal through and through or have absolutely no prev connection to the club, it's all about results ovr season now and that's exactly how it should be and should always have been.
