Ok - better than I expected but 3 1 flattered us
Honest opinion;
Leno - summed up why it was a mistake selling Emi. Couldn't catch a cold and spills to many shots. Pulled off a nice save but we need more than a shot stopper.
Leadership - none
Useless goal kicks putting us under pressure - hundreds. WTF Mikel.
Defence did ok, despite shaky moments. But no leadership.
Is Granit fit? Looked heavy and off the pace
What's happened to Bellerin? Oh, a pro footballer can't take a throw but to be fair Pepe can't take a corner
AMN is no left winger - why not Saka
Why waste PEA out wide - seriously. Is he still wondering around Liverpool lost and lonely
What's the deal with Saka
Where's the midfield - they were poor
We are so so weak in midfield and so slow going forward.
No real defender or organiser in midfield and no creative spark.
Lucky to score our goal, unlucky Laca fluffed his lines, unlucky Mane didn't see red but very lucky Liverpool did not take their chances.
Well played Pool disappointed with us and anyone who says midfield is ok.

Tbh SY the midfield is OK and that's the issue OK is not good enough to be where we want to be but I completely agree with you mate coyg.

We were all ecstatic after wins against, M City, Chelsea and Liverpool to win two trophies now we are pants . erm not buying that . Yes I agree Leno is a lucky boy to stay as number 1 . Not too sure why Luiz started, though he wasn’t too bad . I still don’t think Xhaka should start for us, I don’t get the Torriera thing at all . Pepe was 72 million wasted totally, someone bring evidence to show I’m wrong . On the whole we have a good manager and I’m pleased with MA .
Klopp has taken a lot of money and a number of years to get Liverpool where they are, let’s give Arteta the same.

I do feel we are heading in the right direction and one game won't change that feeling. Far too many reactionary comments from our fan base (not saying the poster as you've made valid points) hopefully within the week we get the signings we need.
