Ed do you know if an agreement has been reached for Torreira to leave arsenal on loan to Fiorentina on an obligation to buy basis? Sorry if question has been asked, doesn't seem that it has.

That would leave us short in midfield for the start of the season (presuming ceballos has to isolate? ) , but if he's going to go, we can't hang around and need to get this done soooo.
Unless we're getting Partey, then SURELY AMN has got to be given a chance in midfield!

I like xhaka he puts tackles in got a good shot on him and left foot he has the right attitude atm and turnt it around at our club this is just my opinion tho.

Stephen, arteta came out recently and gave what I think is the main reason - he said something like he leaves absolutely everything on the pitch, in games and training. Its that attitude arteta wants and needs. As it is, everyone has seen xhakas improvement last season too. With our new defenders and more settled attack, let's hope he proves people wrong, but certainly he showed character to not just stick around but noticeably improve too.
And he's just been made Switzerland captain. got to give him credit.

When your desperate to sell you usaully get a lower price wire mate and when your desperate to off load something that isn't in popular demand sometimes you have to pay for someone to come and take it from you mate. The trick is not to allow yourself to get desperate in the first place and sell while there is still some demand.

No-one can be certain how AMN will do Welsh, but surely he's earned a chance and do we want to risk another gnabry? Ill be fuming if Elneny got game time there before he does. But let see what happens.
