Hi Ed, Bellerin to PSG? Guardian saying they have submitted a 25m offer.

Agree0 Disagree0

If the rumours are to be believed then apparently PSG Bayern and Juve are all interested signing Hector.
IF they were to be true then that's the champions of France Germany and Italy all chasing one of our players which IF true would pose the question of, what do these 3 title winning clubs see in Hector that we don't see?

I don't think that it's a case of us not seeing it mate because he's our first choice RB. I'm also sure that Arsenal don't want to let him go but every player has his price and we need to raise funds. If an acceptable offer came in and the player wanted to leave, then Arsenal would do the deal but I don't see it happening this summer and I certainly do not see Hector asking to leave. We have only just brought in Cedric as back up to Hector to give us the right squad depth for a full season in multiple competitions. He'll stay mate :)

I hope so Glen as I personally rate Hector and think he will flourish in any decent settled team and I want that team to be us rather than watch another player leave Arsenal and achieve big prizes elsewhere.

Although it does pose the question of Maitland Niles if Hector stays?

I don't see Maitland Niles winning a pace in midfield if Ceballos comes back.

{Ed047's Note - this will be a season like no other with games coming thick and fast so whilst we still need to trim the squad I wouldn’t put Bellerin in with those that need to go.

I think the additions of Partey and Ceballos with exits for Papa, Ozil, Guendouzi and maybe one of Chambers or Holding would be a very decent transfer window.

I agree ed mate and I think everyone is forgetting LT11 if we could get40mill for him it could help to balance the books.

It certainly would Ed047 mate, it would be our most progressive and positive window I can remember if it was to happen this way. I think it would certainly send us into the season on a very positive footing.

{Ed047's Note - For a change I’m trying not to get to ahead of myself about the prospect of that happening but I think we’d all be more than happy with it.

In answer to Malaga as I missed his post, yep had forgotten about Torriera and if he does want to go then let’s get some decent money for him.

Absolutely ed047, Bellerin for me is our captain in spirit if not in actual fact. Would be mad to let him go, especially for just 25m. As far as I'm concerned we only have 2 RBs right now, I still see Ainsley's future as a reliable utility player. You need your John O'Sheas and your Ji-Sung Parks as much as your Aubayangs and Cescs.

{Ed047's Note - I know some don’t like Bellerin but we also have to be realistic about who we possibly replace him with and I’m definitely with you on Maitland-Niles.

He’s the potential to be one of the Milner’s of this world and be a great asset to the club.

Strange if they let Bellerin leave.
