Just watched the video MG - Luiz did well and does appear to be a father figure to these two and talk up the club. 👠ðŸ‘
I also believe he won’t care if or when Gabriel replaces him this season as he appears to just enjoy being part of the club and May be getting ready to transition his responsibilities as an “old†pro in a nurturing team.

But for me another reason not to send Holding out on loan. I appreciate Arteta will want to bed in the new guys next to experience, but if your building for the future, it would be nice to see Gabriel play alongside Holding and Saliba in a back 3, even if just for cup games. Difficult to do that if one is playing elsewhere.

I was Just reading Gabriel is excellent at covering his full back which is a huge advantage when playing a back 3 and wing backs.
Looking forward to seeing him in our shirt.

Actually excited about our defence - Emi, Cedric, Saliba, Holding, Mavropanos, Gabriel, Tierney, Mari and Luiz the father figure.
