Okay a different question to all the eds and posters here.

Do you think Arsenal will win the league this decade? I know no one can predict it, neither can realistically make a case.

Just based on what you know about the club, the personnel, the owners. What is your feeling?

Agree0 Disagree0

No. Too many well-run or absurdly rich (or both) teams out there, of which we are neither. I think Wolves are closer than we are to winning the league.

I think our only hope would be a leicester-like season. i. e. all the other teams flop and we stroll through with a modest points tally. Beyond that? Nae chance.

I can see us going on a Liverpoolesque wait for our next title, like Wire said, there is a lot of well run clubs making the league so difficult to win now, clubs like Leicester who in the Grand scheme of things, haven't been in the Premier League for That long, but have been run almost impeccably from day one. Clubs like Everton have very rich owners and are happy spending the money (why not! ) .

And you have your United/ Chelsea/ City who will always spend close to or over 100m. We need to have a plan and right now, I can't see one that will take us abov Liverpool and City, even for one season. You cannot fluke a Premier League Title and we are lightyears away from being good enough.

5 years ago who would have predicted Liverpool getting 96 points and not winning the league and then going on to get another 96 plus points the following season and becoming champions?
Within the last decade Liverpool were on the verge of going bust and had Roy Hodgson as manager and their fans were not happy bunnies at all and only 5 years ago they finished 6th or 8th was it under Brendan Rodgers before bringing in Jurgen Klopp?
6 years ago when Leicester were finishing 14th in the championship and playing against Yeovil Town, who would have been crazy enough to predict that within the next 3 and half seasons they would be premier league champions and playing against Athletico Madrid in a champions league quater final?
Predicting next season is only fairly educated guess that will almost certainly be proven wrong while predicting just 3 seasons time is totally impossible and as for 10 years time? Well within the next decade we might be way to busy getting to know our new friends from a planet several trillion light-years away to even care about football any more by then :-)
