Who was on here a few months ago when Unai Emery was sacked and were begging for us to appoint the "serial trophy winner" Mourinho? Come out with your hands up!

Where are you now, with less than six months of playing time later, Mr Mourinho is busy deflecting, grumbling, dropping his better players "to make a point", and behaving exactly the way my six year old can when he doesn't get his way, precisely the same as he did at Milan, Madrid, Chelsea (second time around) , Manchester United and now - surprise, surprise, at The Toot?

Do you still prefer José now, or happy that we went with Freddie as a stop-gap and then have been bold with Mikel?

Still a very, very long way to go, but clubs do re-build, can attract top class players and - given time and coaching and skill, a bit of luck and some money (we ain't skint, not Portsmouth skint, not Sunderland skint, not Wigan skint, not Bury FC skint) - do and can come again.

Klopp took time, even Pep didn't win owt first season at Citeh, OGS is having an impact at United so I am delighted with recent progress and we need to be patient.
Been a poor season, but the last few games, two new contract signings and the astonishing transformation of players I had publicly given up on (Kolasinac, Mustafi, Luiz, Xhaka) , and the hard-line taken against players who don't toe the line (Guendozi, Ozil (allegedly) ) gives me a real feel of optimism.

You can stick your José where the sun don't shine (which from memory was all four corners of the old White Hart lane (I haven't been there since 1986) ) .

I am fickle enough that I might change my choon after Leicester, Spurs, Liverpool and Manchester City, but least I am honest!

I was not a fan from the very start Of Emery and did not want José near our club

I didn’t want Rogers either.

I was slated when i said I didn’t want emery, from the start and even b4 he arrived.

I wanted simone or that other bloke with a weird name from Germany lol or Wenger back.

{Ed047's Note - Nagelsmann, would have loved him

I think you'll find I said get Nuno as soon as Arsenes leaving was announced back in early 2018 and well before Wolves were even promoted!
I think you'll also find i sometimes make stuff up :-)

{Ed047's Note - 🤣🤣

I will hold my hands up, I think I might of said get him in even though he doesn’t stay around any club for any long, it was to try and change the mentality

Clearly I was wrong - MA looks to have got the players on side?

A win tonight and i'm even more convinced - the transfer window will be decisive for us, without a doubt

It will probably be a good thing there isn’t a summer break between seasons also.

Fair play Banbury mate, it could have gone the other way had Jose rediscovered his old original Chelsea self again at Spurs, that would have been very bad news for us.
It's strange because when he's not involved with a club and in the TV studio as a pundit he's seems to be his old funny charming self again but once he's back in the manages role he seems to revert back to the angry bitter one again which is a shame for the game because he was once such a brilliant asset to football, his team were successful on the pitch and he was top value entertainment off the pitch when at his best all those years ago.
