So: Gunners are 'desperate to raise cash' to land Partey and will attempt to sell Matteo Guendouzi, Alexandre Lacazette or Lucas Torreira.

Who would you let go?

I will surprise you - I'd keep Matteo. If he has a true leader next to him and gets developed then I think he could be a gem. At the moment he's an ill disciplined Player who gives the ball away to easily but there's something there.

I'm not the biggest Torreira fan but we need defensive cover

So, I'd sell Laca first and Torreira second choice.

{Ed002's Note - Guendouzi wants to play a higher level - he has made that clear.}

Our chances of signing hungry players with good options are very remote right now and regardless of whether we each of us rate Guendozi and Ceballios as players the fact that both want to play at the highest possible level and don't see Arsenal as somewhere to achieve those ambitions is a real problem that needs to change both on and off the pitch.
Getting back in the champions league is a huge task but when it happens we must show everyone everywhere we as a club don't see this as mission accomplished but merely as a step towards our real target of being premier league champions again.

We don't want or need any players who think they're better than the club. Guendouzi is clearly the sort of player who thinks it should be handed to him on a plate rather than fight to reach the highest level. His attitude towards training and also during matches has been questioned on numerous occasions so good riddens! If this was Aubameyang than okay, he's proved his worth and he's 31 so perhaps he doesn't see personal achievements being accomplished any time soon with Arsenal but it isn't. If it was Mbappe who's clearly an unbelievable footballer than you could perhaps accept it again but it isn't! Sell him 👋🏻.

I think we have to accept our image and reputation in the game is not what it once was and we are now seen as a stepping stone club for players who want to play at the very top level Glen mate, it may hurt to accept that is where we are right now but only by accepting it can we begin to change it. Our reputation as having top 4 trophy ambition was something we earned with our behaviour over time and we will only change that image and reputation by showing people we've changed.

None I’d want kronke to dig deep we have money let’s us spend.

I've accepted it Gunner mate for sure. That only applies to certain players though in my opinion. What's Guendouzi done to even suggest that he's ready and deserving of moving on already to play champions league football? It's not like he's lit the world up or had the impacts of Sancho/ Foden has he? For that reason I don't think we're a stepping stone in this case, it's more ignorance and a bad ego in his case. I hope he ends up playing mid-table foreign football with his attitude 😂.

I've got to admit I like the lad Glen mate I love the passion he shows and how much he celebrates our successes and how much our defeats hurt him. He's got a lot to learn and maybe he does think he's better than he is already or maybe he is frustrated by how things were going before he was dropped, I'm not sure but I do think he has a big future ahead of him somewhere and some one will chanel all that passion and desire and raw abilty into a star of the game. No one is bigger than the club that's for sure but the club has to somehow convince current and potential new hungry players that they won't be wasting their careers at Arsenal as Kos and Sagna did when they turned down big moves away.

05 Jul 2020 22:52:11
There's no doubting he's got talent but he hasn't done anything to warrant that move that's all. He's 20 so working hard to gain vital experience for another 1 or even 2 seasons, whilst keeping your mouth shut and your attitude fully focused on being successful isn't wasting your career whether that be at Arsenal or Norwich. I liked him up until recently but I'd rather see him leave now.

I would sell: lacazette, mustafi, Holding, sokratis, kolasinac, bellerin, torreira, xhaka, willock. ozil and guendouzi (not because of talent but because of bad attitude)

apart from guendouzi, the rest are either overpaid (ozil) , limited (xhaka, mustafi, bellerin, sokratis, willock, holding, kolasinac, lacazette) or not suited to the premier league (torreira) . Basically we need a massive clear-out.
