Ozil needs to start. Saka on the left, Pepe on the right and Auba through the middle. To be honest, I don't think it matters what you put in behind that we're still screwed. Tierney being the only exception to criticism because he's actually good. As for the rest, he we go again people prepare yourself 😂.

A chelsea fan here. You have a proper team. May not be great but definitely better. But unfortunately many times positional usage is not handled correctly by your managers. E. g. David Luiz and Torreira in middle would be great. But mostly you guys play xhaka and someone which takes off the balance. Similarly playing Luiz in a back 2 is invitation for disaster. I hope Arteta figures out best position for each player and that would make you stronger. You still need lot of improvements but it's not gloom and doom as stated in the page many times.

Mikel will do what Mikel chooses and that's fine because that's his job, while it's our job to let Mikel know if we are happy or unhappy with what he serves us up.
He has pretty much a free pass this season but next season is definitely time for him to prove he's capable making us happier than Emery was and if not then what's the point of keeping him?
He doesn't have to make us great next season but he does have to make us better than we are now or were under Emery.

Fair comments MadBlue. I think what Arsenal fans are craving right now is exerting some authority over midfield and making us hard to beat again, been a very long time since we controlled the middle of the park. Maybe not since the Cazorla/ Coquelin days. Good luck against City, should be a good game.

The Le Coq Caz combination worked so well Wire mate, I was disappointed Arsene didn't replace Caz with a new Caz type partner for Le Coq rather than replace Le Coq with Xhaka.
Coquelin used break up so much opposition play before it could get going and get at our defence.

Absolutely g62, to be fair to Wenger I think he believed Xhaka could become that player, but hindsight is 20/ 20 obviously. I'm sure everyone will agree that we hope Torreira can still become that player, needs a chance to shine.
