I have huge concerns about our club there are 3 or 4 teams below within touching distance, 13th 14th or 15th place wouldn’t be a shock - let’s just hope we don’t end up like Leeds -.

Exactly mate, my mate and I were discussing possibilities today and just as you said Leeds fans would never have thought about relegation.

We are turning in mid-table mediocrity very quick and if drastic measures are not taken it will take a very long time to get out of this malaise. Hopefully won't get as bad as Leeds and regulation but can never say never and we need to act. At moment we ain't attracting big players that for sure Wolves and Leicester are ahead of us in the queue atm. So for me we need to get back to basics first build hard no nonsense English defence with some backbone and leadership and poach some defenders from the likes of Burnley, Sheffield Utd and so on. let's get tough and hard to beat first then work from there. I hope Arteta is the right man but still have my doubts tbh.

Ryan - is it British you want or just a winning mentality or feel we can steel these easier. I really couldn’t care where they come from but I want the winning mentality and cold ass defenders who take no 💩.
Our entire defensive unit today, Leno included lack leadership. Leno should shout at his defence and boss his box - he doesn’t. CDs should shout at midfield or wingbacks if out of position - they don’t.
May be British gets you a common language but their are plenty top top foreign defenders - we bought Holding but like Mavropanos or even Matteo - have they really improved us? Matteo still daydreams, spec possession, ol the blues to long and has no positional discipline. How has Holding progressed, How has BellerÃn improved crossing or defensive work. Something is wrong.
