Not sure how true it is but I've just read that city's appeal won't be heard in time for the 2020/ 2021 season so any ban if upheld would start in 2021/ 2222 season meaning
City would take part in next seasons champions league and 5th place champions league place qualification would not be applicable to this curent season no matter what.

Clearly we shouldn’t rely on City to be banned from next season’s CL. We must try to get as many points as possible and force our way into the top four, which will be extremely difficult.

Totally agree RG, do all we can to get 3 points from as many games as possible and see where that leaves us after 38 games, it's the only way.
