Can't believe this stat - Lacazette's last away goal in the Premier League came on February 9th, 2019,. A year without scoring away from home 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.

Agree1 Disagree0

He’s been very poor.

He hasn't looked good to me since returning from injury, I actually thought he might have left in January because despite his obvious trying his best he seems to have lost his edge.

I like Arteta more and more, his post match interview was honest without all the silly positive spin no one believes for a minute, he's neither embarrassingly in denial of all our faults and weaknesses or totally out of touch with reality in his appraisal of his team.

Ok all our problems accumulated over the past 15 years haven't suddenly vanished over night but the improvement on and off the pitch is very very encouraging.

62 - remember he did moan about the long grass. Do t have rose tinted glasses. he also said our defending was better - it wasn’t : the number of clear chances Burnley had and made a hash of was a joke. Let’s be honest - he made a few bad calls and again the players weren’t on it. I thought he looked a little lost and run out of ideas in the last 20. Sure if it was a Freddie, Wenger or Emery : you would have said something. It’s only one game but Chelsea first half was the same. he needs to keep pushing for improvement and stop making excuses. We need to be honest.

Wasn’t the right game for Laca - why not play him in EL and FA Cup 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Playing Matteo was stupid

Dropping Pepe was stupid

Playing PEA out of position was stupid

Not happy with the boss today at all.

I'm all for being honest SY, I didn't hear the grass comment but that is of course silly.

Your opinion on Guendouzi and other individuals isn't honesty, it's just you're honest opinion mate and as we all know opinion isn't fact.

We are far from the finished article but we are a completely different animal since Arteta arrived, in my opinion of course :-).

I am very very happy with how things under Arteta so far.

I’m very happy with him also but he’s not above criticism

Nothing wrong with giving him a reality check as he did make some poor calls today ( as anyone can ) , didn’t react quick enough to make changes and generally had a poor day at the office. We were unlucky with our finishing but very lucky with Burnley’s ineptness in front of our goal. We were the width of half a ball from dropping all points.

I get concerned when we gloss over things as we will only get better if we improve on all the small decisions. Many were wrong today and it showed. We all need everyone to be fair and honest even if in general we are happy with him. I e posted plenty of pro-Arteta posts but today and Chelsea first half - I think he was poor.

My own view is we have known many many many worse results and performances over recent years and Arteta inherited a squad that was our worst performing squad ever, none of these players were Artetta choice but he has done wonders with them in attitude effort mentality commitment mentality in a very short space of time, is Artetta perfect? No of course not he's just a rookie manager who has made an extremely impressive start in mine and many others opinions.
Sometimes the best managers in the world get it wrong and if they are lucky their players bail then out on other occasions we have to accept their human fallibility.
