Hi all, long term daily reader - 1st time poster.

Felt moved to make my first post on here after watching the 'bench cam' from the Crystal Palace match on facebook yesterday.

I been feeling so negative about Arsenal for well over a decade and still have major concerns over the team, board and structure at the club, but.

. Arteta! I like everything I've seen so far. The bench cam shows his undoubted passion, but also shows he saw the Palace goal coming before those on the pitch picked up the danger and knew Auba was walking before VAR came into play.

Backed properly (and that is the problem) and i think we've unearthed a diamond of a manager!

{Ed047's Note - I watched it too Corbs, they put them up on the club page too. Love it when you see the players leaping up and getting involved.

I really like him, love what he says and doesn’t seem to mince his words which is a breath of fresh air and is a really passionate guy.

Let’s hope he proves to be what we all hope, the early signs are great for me but he has a lot to do.

Welcome aboard mate and enjoy.

Welcome 08 mate
So far Artetta looks the best thing to happen at Arsenal in a very long time and Just what we needed.
Liverpool and City are in a league of their own right now but nobody else is unsupassable and this season is all about getting us ready to fight for the best of the rest title in 2020/ 21. From what I've seen so far that doesn't look impossible to achieve either.

Thanks guys.

Just hoping the board realise what they have. Mikel obviously loves this club but I don't think he will be messed around by anybody.

Treat him badly and watch the big Spanish vultures start circling!

So far very impressive from Arteta. I believe he knows what we need. I only hope the club give him the funds to buy players.

{Ed002's Note - Funds from where?}

Perhaps the Owners could put their hands in their deep pockets!

{Ed002's Note - I am afraid that is not possible.}

Books need balancing financial rules need following that is the reality and if we want to spend big we need to sell big too

It's easy to say sell Mustafi and Elneny but they won't raise the funds for the players fans want and selling Mesut isn't a possibility even if some fans would want too.
Auba or Lacca have a value that wouod raise the money for the type of quality we want at CB or CMF but are fans happy to lose eirther or both?
It really isn't fantasy football in the real game and choices have to be made.

Perhaps they could pay $1Bn for the naming writes fir the Emirates - sure that’s possible. Ask City.
