Only for those who are missing Emerys way of explaining things :-)

Nope - never ever. No way

Keown all day long.

Wasn't Keowen a coach years ago under Arsene, or am I imagining that?

Absolutely not! Adams’s was an exceptional player and captain, but he has been a poor manager and coach. It will be interesting to see who Arteta brings in as his coaches. I risk the wrath of fellow supporters, would a revitalised Wenger in an advisory role to Arteta be an idea. Be gentle with me! I am simply concerned about appointing a manager with zero management experience. We need an instant lift and I have my doubts that Arteta will bring this. I really would prefer Pochettino or Benitez, even Nuno Wolves.

I didn’t think that’d go down well lol it only came to me as one of the people who could actually install some pride for playing for the club would be Mr. Arsenal. I’m not silly, I know his post-playing career hasn’t been great but you can’t deny his passion for the club and what he demanded during his time. No one can tell me they wouldn’t give their left one for his passion and organisation in our team. I know he won’t be playing but he could at least help some of the younger ones, mav, holding, chambers and even saliba when he comes over.

Hi Cd mate, Tony is and will always be an Arsenal legend and in my opinion the best captain we've ever had but he's a prime example of great players not always making great managers or coaches, for some reason it seems quite the opposite is true most of the time where the best managers and coaches had the least glittering playing careers.
When Tony was Portsmouth manager I used to cringe listening to his totally baffling pre and post match interviews that made absolutely no sense what so ever; it wasn't difficult to understand why Portsmouth players looked completely lost under his guidance and he seems to have had the same problem everywhere he's been since Portsmouth and he's most definitely traveled far and wide in the pursuit of coaching success.
I hope Arsenal will always find Tony work should he need it but not in any coaching roles at any level because it's just not his game.

62 - he was and I thought he improved our defence. Didn’t we go on a long run of winning / clean sheets / stronger defence but then was removed 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️.
