Hi eds.
Out of curiousity, and Obviously highly speculative, but do you think that Wenger being forced out (or as good as) rather than leaving in a managed way had a detrimental after on Arsenal FC's attempt to land their original managererial targets? I'm thinking about availability, contracts/ funds and that kind of thing.

Or was it solely the poor managerial structure at the club which meant Emery was the only option the club could really get that they were happy with?

{Ed002's Note - No Jim, that had nothing to do with it. Emery was well down the list as I explained at the time.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Hi Ed002,hope you are well mate.

i know you have severally repeated that Unai was well down the list so who was the number one target and why did he not take the job? why did gazidis come out and say emery was their number one choice? was he lying?

{Ed002's Note - Why do you want to open this up again?}

Thanks for the response Ed.

I did ask you the same question sometime back you asked me to use the search function lol. i did but did not find exactly what i was looking for. maybe i did not use the correct words as English is not my first language.

Sorry for the bother but will appreciate if you took your time to answer my question.

{Ed002's Note - I really do't want to open the whole thing up again.}
