Wow, what a mess we are in.
Terrible management by our manger and club.
Xhaxa has to shoulder some of the blame. Even if he was asked to be captain he should of used his brain and refused. He has been booed before he was captain, he watches Arsenal fan TV and would of know the fan base was split on him (before being made captain)
He should of said no to being captain and concentrated on getting the fans onside, unfortunately being made captain made this situation 100 times worse. Just what is going through UE head.
We have risked a lot to get a top 4 finish and if we don't do it this season there is going to be huge issues.
I just can't see UE turning it around. It's toxic at the club and UE has no one to blame apart from himself.
The board need to grow a pair, admit that UE has got it wrong and get rid now. Bring Henrey/ Viera/ Berkamp to end of season to give us some hope of making top four.
If we keep with UE I shudder to think what is going to happen. It's going to get worse before it gets better. Going to be a bumpy ride.

I’d say the fan base was more than split, it’s a vast majority that don’t want him near the squad. If any good has come from this game it’s that emery can’t pick him the next and hopefully we see a a better performance so that he can’t be picked in the future.

I mean the fan base was split befor he was made captain. Obviously now it’s 99% of the fan base against him.

Everything that is going wrong can be traced back to Emery, Mesut makes headlines each week because of his exclusion Xhaka makes headlines each week because of inclusion the defence makes headlines because of its total disorganised and lack of cohesion while our overall performances are making headlines for being once now than under Arsene.
You don't have to be a football expert to follow all the glaringly obvious clues to understand why it's all going wrong this season in exactly the same way it all went wrong last season too.
Emery like Xhaka is simply out of his depth and again like Xhaka it shows virtually every time we play.
Lose at Wolves and I doubt we will be talking about Emery being our manager much longer.

Your post gunner62 is spot on and I actually think also we have gone slightly backwards under Dick Emery?
We really need true grit on the field and a change of manager will do our club some good due to lack of tactical awareness and how to control our style of playing.
Something I cannot understand in our game is how Sokratis, Luiz, Kolasinac and Xhaka every game just run into players or push and grapple all the time? It's not the way our defence has been ever and do they know what a tackle is? Get Vieira in.
