Silva lives to fight another day and Spurs and Poch look like a couple who are going through the motions each wanting the other to give in and accept divorce terms they'd rather not have to accept.
The longer Spurs delay the bigger Poch replacements job will to rescue their season while the longer he stays the more Poch options post Spurs deminish.

Big problems at the Toot.
I have a hunch Mourinho will replace Pochettino, who will take over at Man U.
It may be a test of nerves as Pochettino has a reported £35m ‘transfer’ clause in his contract, which will make Levy reluctant to sack him. In addition if Pochettino doesn’t pick up a job paying the same or higher wages the Toot could be liable to continue paying his wages or some of his wages.

Obviously someone doesn't want to miss out on something financially be it Poch or Levy but it's actually difficult to see how whatever has gone wrong there is going to suddenly go right again, Poch is sounding quite bizarre in his interviews and press conferences too, going on about players still inviting him out for players meals together? Sounds weird to me anyway.

Agree gunner and RG, it's time to part ways as we are bang average at best and will struggle to finish top 8, poch has peaked and teams have now found out to play against spurs they have no plan b. I think spurs losing the champions league final has finished them off and agree with RG that pochetino will be utd manager before Christmas and I pray for the special one jose mourinho who won't win league titles at spurs but will definitely lift league cups, FA cups and possibly europa leagues.

Mourinho will be fun for a couple years raver61 and is your best chance of trophies. It will, of course, end in tears.

By there standards City are having a tough time, it happens to all sides of course but it's how long it goes on for that is the biggest indicator of its a blip or a genuine problem.
Form comes and goes Rather but if you can handle string 2 consecutive wins together over a prolonged period something is definitely not right with what the manager is doing.

G62 think he's trying to say he's still got the backing of the players.

Yeah he is MgM mate but not only does that not show on the pitch he also doesn't sound like he's truly convinced of that himself when he says it, he sounds more hopeful than convinced to me.
We've seem and heard it before, with of course Arsene and many others like Mourinho LVG Brendan Rogers at Liverpool Conte at Chelsea but once things keep going wrong over an extended period it's difficult to remember it ever turning round properly again for a manager who's previously done well at that club but suddenly can't get response from his players over a long period.
I personally think once you've lost the players there is no way of pulling so many individuals back together again and it's time for a fresh start for both club and manager.
