Don't blame him, he's got a lovely little number living in a place he loves living in, he's happy to play for us if selected or spend time with his missus and friends if not required to play for us, Why would he give all that up to make Emery happy?

Anyone else wish we'd just f*****g PLAY Ozil? You know, the guy with multiple assists records and WC/ La Liga winners medals?
This whole saga is beyond a joke. I know he doesn't fit Emery's style of play - he'd probably have frozen him out at PSG too - but he's easily one of the most talented players on the planet.
I'd have him over Xhaka in the team any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
{Ed047's Note - it would be amazing to get the best out of him again, he needs to get a game then make it impossible for Emery to drop him.
We have all that talent up front and the assist king and it’s just so disappointing he’s not there feeding them.

Luis and Xhaka obviously struggle in Emery system but they are not frozen out, in my opinion this is all about Mesuts wages not his abilty but Mesut was given those crazy wages long before Emery arrived so Emery should respect that and put aside his personal feelings and use the world's undisputed king of assists and the clubs 17 million a year wisely and not to suit his own personal feelings.

99% of football fans accept Mesut has incredible abilty 50% don't think he delivers often enough.
So if almost everyone agrees about his abilty then the only debate is how to get the best out of him, very few you feel allowing him to go shopping with his wife while Arsenal are playing is the best use of his talents.
Luis is 50/ 50 marmite player that people either rate or don't rate at all.
But both have played at the very top of the game and between them won and played vital roles in winning the games very top prizes.
They are by far the 2 most successful players we have at the club and the only 2 who have played and won at the very top.
Surely it's not impossible to find a way of accommodating the only players with very top level experience and using them and all they offer to our advantage.
