There are positives showing in the team and I like the spirit of the team but we have individual players that are costing us week in week out, and unless that’s been addressed I’m afraid we will not be moving much forward.

I will support emery for the good and bad but just and only JUST when he stop playing xhaka in the team. I mean who makes that kind challenge in the box.

Agree0 Disagree0

I think the whole team would benefit from Emery making his mind up about his best 11 and choosing a plan A and plan B.
All the chopping and changing may give Emery a sense of control over events in games but ultimately he has to trust his players to go out and win games.
Players need understanding of each other and what they are doing in order to be able to develop partnerships and forge a strong identity as a team.
Yes both Liverpool and City are adaptable but equally they both have a preferred patten that every player knows understands and buys into.
I genuinely think Emery trys way to hard and confuses his own team in his attempts to outsmart his opponents.
Know your best 11
Know you best formation
Learn to trust and let go.

Xhaka can't tackle can’t defend can’t track players back, gives the ball away in dangerous areas but he can shoot I give him that. how is he captain.

How are Wilock and Cellabos sat on the bench watching him?

62 mate I agree with you but I feel the team will benefit from dropping xhaka, him in particular is holding the team back, not Luiz and Sokratis. Every player will make a mistake they are human after all but of you are a donkey (xhaka) and hell knows why he’s kept his spot in the team you will always be a liability to the team. As I said unless xhaka is dropped to the under 23 team we will always lose because of mistakes like that stupid tackle in the box.
I think I’m going to have to hire an assassin lol.

I've always felt we play with 9 men when Xhaka plays Moe we are down to 10 because he does little to help and then down to 9 because someone has to cover him waiting to try and make up for his mistakes.
I think the Xhaka situation highlights part of Emerys problems, like Arsene he sees admitting he's got it wrong to himself and others as a weakness so trys to make his decisions right by repeating them over and over in the vain hope reality will change and the world see them as a genius after all.
Most people just accept they got something wrong learn move on but some people Just can't do that so persists at all costs.
Xhaka is huge problem for Emery to overcome on a personal level and will probably end up costing him his job but Xhaka is not the only problem in his managerial make up.

I reckon Xhaka must have seen the boss doing something he shouldn’t have been doing, that’s the only reason I can think he’s in the team let alone captain 😂.

Funny enough 337 I used to think the same thing when Arsene kept playing him :-) , then when Emery did the same thing I came to the conclusion he must have a clause in his contract that stated he must start every game when physically fit, built apparently not so we must have found the only two managers in football who think he's far to invaluable to leave out.

Xhaka must have a private photographer following his managers to catch something on then and blackmail them by playing wee in week out.
Doesn’t Emery uses video footages to analyse the players and the game?
